Monte lupo is very excited to be accepted into the 2006 Memento Australia Awards.  The Memento Awards showcase fresh contemporary, commercially viable craft, art and design that reflect the unique character and spirit of Australia.  Rebecca Lindemann decided that it would be a good idea to develop new magnets for the Momento awards, initially Rebecca developed the magnet designs depicting images of Australian icons, after discussions with the entire Monte Lupo team. Fiona Bell then re-interpreted Rebecca’s design to create the magnets in her own unique naïve red, black and white design
