Brisbane
El Coro Children's Choir
El Coro is a choir for children with disabilities proudly funded by the Zig Zag Foundation. No audition is necessary, all that is needed is a love of music:
- Who: children with a disability aged between 10-18 years; if one on one support is required then children must bring along their own support person
- Where: Multicap, Eight Mile Plains
- What: El Coro is a choir run by a music therapist and supported by a speech therapist, community artist, Multicap Disability Support Worker, and a volunteer
- When: 3.45pm - 5.15pm every Thursday
8 Mile Club
Our 8 Mile Club is a social support group offering a great chance to make friends and have an enjoyable time:
- Who: people with a disability aged between 18-30 years who reside on the Southside of Brisbane
- Where: centre based activities at Multicap, Eight Mile Plains and excursions to other locations in and around Brisbane
- What: a wide range of activities including cooking, craft, dancing, movies, and social activities
- When: 9.00am to 2.00pm every Saturday
Southside Singers Choir
The Southside Singers Choir is an excellent way to learn singing skills through weekly pitch, articulation, breath control, and voice development exercises to suit individuals:

Northside Holidays
Northside Holidays provide holiday options:

Who: people with an intellectual disability aged 18 to 35/40 years; who live on the Northside of Brisbane; are able to be supported on a 2:3 ratio (eligibility criteria); priority will be given to those people with ageing carers

What: supported holidays

Where: holidays to destinations including the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast, and visits to special events such as music festivals

When: 3 holidays during the year
Northside Social Group
The Northside Social Group is a social support group offering a great chance to make friends and have an enjoyable time:

Who: people with an intellectual disability who are aged from 18 to 30/40 years; who live on the Northside of Brisbane; are able to be supported on a 1:3 ratio (eligibility criteria); priority will be given to those people with ageing carers

What: Multicap Dance - monthly sausage sizzle and dance; Multicap Social Club - monthly visits to places of interest

Where: Multicap Nudgee Day Services centre

When: Multicap Dance - 4pm-7pm on the last Friday of each month; Multicap Social Club - held every second Saturday of each month

Our Youth & Adult Social & Support Club is a social support group offering a great chance to make friends and have an enjoyable time:
